In fact, I was immensely delighted by Muir’s writing that I seriously considered immediately reading another book of his and making it the topic of my third book overview and review.īut then I thought that there are so many other books to read, and so many more authors whose literary craft I have yet to discover (or maybe, re-discover), so that in the end, I decided Muir will have to wait.Īfter a bit of exploratory work on Google, I chose Travels with a Donkey in the Cevennes as the third book I would read AND then write an overview and review on. Thus far, I’ve written overviews and reviews for two books, Roughing It by Mark Twain and The Mountains of California by John Muir, two books which I’ve had a pleasurable and enjoyable experience reading, especially the latter. ![]()
